***Short diary warning***
This is the only debate my conservative-leaning office has openly discussed. I will condense the reactions into soundbites for easy reading. Trying to provide insight into what different demographics are thinking as we head into the final stretch.
Mr. Midwest, ex-military, single, mid-20s: Bwahahahaha @ McCain. Voting Obama.
Mr. British, late 40s, married with kids (can't vote, but vocal): McCain scares me.
Mr. Pennsylvania Catholic: Hates Democrats, but strangely silent this morning.
Mr. Military Engineer from Virginia, DINK, late 20s: McCain kicked ass!
Mr. Looking for a Fight Rabid Right-winger: You could tell McCain wanted to go off on Obama but controlled himself and looked presidential.
Mr. Engineer from Virginia, single, late 20s: Don't hate the players, hate the game.
Ms. Midwest, single, early 30s, quite religious: Obama is a Muslim tax-raiser! McCain never called his wife the C-word; that's a liberal lie!
Everyone else (2 Obama voters and 3 McCain voters): No comment.
